who's behind the production
I’m Jake Zabinski. I started Blue Tie Productions in 2017 because I saw a problem: great work going unseen.
I was handling marketing for a local coffee shop when I realized video was the only thing breaking through the noise. So I learned how to shoot. How to edit. How to tell stories that people actually watched. By 2022, I went full-time. Not because I’m “passionate about film”—though I am. Because businesses and arts organizations in La Crosse and across Wisconsin needed someone who understood both the creative side AND the strategic side of video. Today, Blue Tie Productions films orchestras, dance companies, and select commercial brands who refuse to blend in. We’re building a reputation as the go-to video production partner for performing arts organizations across the Midwest—and we’re just getting started.
My goal: Make Blue Tie Productions the name you think of when you need video that actually works.
